A cloudless, sun-filled day – after a chilly night.
In studio, making boxes for all the small nails on the south wall shelves, preparatory to eliminating said shelves.
We had lunch in the studio
The very act of planning a trip has stimulated my ideas for painting – Tonight I made sketches for a picture depicting the southward flight of Monarchs across a dream-like September moon and over a moonlight-drenched meadow full of dry grass, asters (mostly white and goldenrod.)
