When I consider the tide of hundreds of picture ideas flooding my mind, and which will probably never get down on paper, I grow panic-stricken over the knowledge that I will die before they are born. –Many of them seem (in my mind) to be so complete, and glorious—all that is required is time to put them down—(a hallucination of course, because the moment they are started in actuality unforeseen problems arise)—Instead of being frustrated, I ought to thank God that this flood of ideas continues unabated at the beginning of my 69th year.
