From NYC: BPAC Artist-in-Residence Entry 1, November 24, 2013

Back in New York now after my seventh AIR visit. Tony kindly gifted me a wonderful Chris Fritton print of the BPAC at the Fifth Anniversary Reception. It's now displayed over my desk and will keep the Burchfield even closer in mind. Chris is the Studio Director at the WNY Book Arts Center, whom I met on Saturday per Scott's suggestion. An impressive, if not historic place. Yet another unique gem in Buffalo!

Janelle Lynch is the 2013 Burchfield resident artist. She has garnered international recognition over the last decade for her large-format photographs of the urban and rural landscape. Widely exhibited, her work is in several public and private collections including the Burchfield Penney, George Eastman House Museum, the Brooklyn Museum, the Newark Museum, the Fundación Vila Casas, Barcelona, and the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo, Salta, Argentina.
