A blue jay in the apple tree –
The sun a white glow in the ochre streaky clouds, a flock of sparrow fly into a tree their whiring wings sun-lit.
Study my pencil drawings for line effects – get some energy in painting
Use outline in objects which are strong + omit it in elusive objects – or on same objects there may be outline on one side + not on another or against sky may be lost altogether –
In painting landscape which is not a sudden inspiration – Think of the big season or weather sensation then the local character of the tree + exaggerate branch mass or omit branches according to phenomenon – Do not bring old discoveries when sketching – seek new conventionalizations.
