Yesterday morning was unexpectedly rainy. Dark, cool and steady rain. But by noon the air was colder. To Pop concert (Joe Travis, Austin + Bob). Music freshens my imagination. When out rain had ceased the air was windy + cold. We were at once intoxicated with the spirit of the wind and laughed and pranced at nothing.
Today a wonderful day.
Morning partially cloudy – windy day clouds sun-lit against a blueish-emerald sky and a stiff icy breeze - my soul(which is my intimate relation to nature) soared.
Towards noon a crowd of us with Keller to Leader News building to see different processes of reproduction. From the 14th floor the view of the lake was panoramic, and in the capricious wind bustled sunlight, was a fine sight - it was the impression of the trip.
While at lunch a streaky bullet shower. Afternoon clearing + sunlit. Sky a resounding soul-gripping blue.
I love nature for her own sake as I do beauty. Art for Art’s sake” says Nietsche. It has always been my slogan and in it I rejoice.
