Morning cold - dark clouds come early - invigorating at School - bullet shower rattles the roof - to window, - streaks - grey sky. At noon walk in Park - Cold stiff breeze - dark day - fissures in clouds only light - peculiar effect.
Ground patterned with leaves – Underground channels – moles? A bullet shower - rattles on the leaves - a yellow silver poplar against the sky is sunlight. Leaves whirling over the ground is a sparkling sight.
Afternoon - talk with model - Tells of Italian marriage, railways, police-man etc. Has no ear for ragtime, no eye for American girl.
Day meets night with continued grey windy clouds & cold breeze.
