Oct. 27 – Tues.
As I had been unable to save Bertha’s present until today – there was no surprise for her.
Mart had supper, unfortunately for me, a coughing and wheezing spell made it impossible for me to eat. I always have an illogical sense of guilt over “spoiling” a party by such spells.
