Crews are installing giant, stainless steel projection towers on the front lawn of the Burchfield Penney Art Center. Once they're ready to go, these projectors will bring art alive by displaying the work of local artists on the front of the building.
Director Dr. Anthony Bannon said, "We will 24/7, 365, forever, be showing image and sound made by artists from Western New York."
The project was designed by University at Buffalo professor Brad Wales and Brian Milbrand, an artist at Buffalo State.
The towers should be ready to go next Friday.
