The trees now have lost some leaves enough to reveal entirely the trunk & branches, retaining enough to keep the big foliage silhouette – they look like gigantic jagged leaves –
Today is like the first oppressive warm day in March.
A big wind sweeps out of the southwest, a dusty haze is in the air; The southern sky in white, the northern blue grey & white streaked -
Dark jagged trees waving in the wind in front of that white sky – pin-point song of crickets; z-ing of Katydids; darting of butterflies –Dead leaves, occasional patches of yellow sunlight –
Think of sunrays rain, wind & moonlight on those leaf-like trees!
Sun behind a thinned tree –
In scene of “big leaf” trees subordinate all but the trunks which are black & misshapen –
Construct huge trees like a leaf, with small leaves in pattern over it –
