Finished sand-papering the frames. A hot, brilliant day, with a fresh S.W. wind. It was pleasant to feel the hot sunlight glowing down on me.
In studio, trying to decide whether I should add a few pictures to the list. Finally call F discuss it with him. He feels sure I have enough already. He said he might have to open my show the 6th—This means my things must be in his hands at least by Sept. 30.
Evening Hank drops by on his return from the airport to pick up their share of the first B & M have been canning. I rode up with him, got Mart and bought ice-cream on the return and we had a pleasant hour together—
