The morning glories are blooming profusely these mornings.
Letter from Golden’s Secretary that the picture had arrived safely and was to be used as a Christmas Greeting.
M. drives me to get car, which had the fender repaired.
Evening, as we were about to depart for a movie, Peter H. came to the door wanting to know if we owned a brown & white cat. (The idea of a brown & white cat intrigued me, but it turned out he meant a two-toned yellow cat). It had gotten into his pigeon coup somehow and killed a lot of squabs. I told him it belonged in the neighborhood west of us. (As we went by in our car, I saw him pull out of Hess’ and stop at Haven Millers).
The picture “Repeat Performance” (Joan Leslie—Louis Haywood)—a very tense picture, but well done.
On the way home we stopped at Mart & Hanks to see their new electric refrigerator.
