Made tracing from the old tracings [during the later part of his career, Burchfield revisited paintings from 1917. He expanded the original work to create new larger works] I made several years ago, of the 1917 “Windswept Meadow” (Brasch collection) and its suggested ideas for enlarging – in the new tracing I incorporated new ideas. Transferred it to a 40 x 50 mount. Evening B&I to Buffalo to shop, a snack at J.M.S."
