After a 2-week hiatus, This Week in ALP made up for lost time (though is any time ever truly lost?) by plunging even more fully into the murky waters of the Barge project. (See what I did there? As for Aunt Sally, she has made a full recovery from her mysterious ailments and is celebrating that fact by taking not one but two walks a day, mostly just around the neighborhood (such as it is) but occasionally she’ll meander into a store and buy something like a Snickers bar. She’s not supposed to have candy, but you know Aunt Sally. She is not one to do as she is told. “When you’ve lived as long as I have,” she’ll tell anyone who listens, “you’ve earned the right to do as you damn well please.” And so she does.
