Early afternoon, to Buels to see about the car at Justice, and to do a little shopping –
Late P.M. make innumable (sic) studies of clouds, with the purpose of using them for the Two Bridges picture.
A storm comes up at sunset. It is very exciting, and infected all of us – Arthur climbed the willow tree and stood in its top, facing the wind. Two of the girls climbed the shed roof. A violent wind preceded the rain, filling the air with dust. Two planes making for the air-port; the second, a transport, tho pointed northwest, was flying in a wide arc, northeastwards.
