A fresh post-thundershower day. This morning made me think of mushrooms - loosely misty windblown clouds. At midmorning the sun came out for the first time in the morning & my delight & thrill was as great as if it had been obscured for months, instead of a few hours. Thus is our love of sunlight.
At noon a brisk breeze from southwest. Sky deep blue but the air was hotly humid. Evening calm - stagnant dreamy, clouds seeming unwilling to move along. The air is cool and young.
