During this period I got to work on some of my frames. I have long had the idea that I could take two small frames, and by piecing, make a larger frame, and then concealing the joints with plastic wood. It worked out very well, and I find I will be able to make all of my frames for the larger picture. I have done some with the matts.
Having my bench out in front of the shed, it is pleasant working, especially if it is a mild day.
Gas rationing registration yesterday. I have applied for additional rations—the thought of not being able to go out at least occasionally in the car is depressing.
