July 6 - Monday
Started work on the "Wheat field" - (Storm in the Night)
Evening transplanted some of the zinnias. -
A sullen gray day, with slight rain at times. Cool but strangely oppressive. Towards evening, the air cleared, a strong wind sprang up, and the temperature went down.
Bengert offers a job weeding to Art - He though Art could get a "buddy" to help, but his best friend, Jimmy lives on a farm - So Cathie volunteers to go too.
