P. M. to Warner Hill Rd. (South of E. Aurora) painting a cold, partly cloudy day. In the deep woods where in June 1947, I painted the woods interior with star—shaped openings letting in light. I chose today a long horizontal shape. I had to make myself work. Afterwards, drove to top of hill and ate my lunch. Then home.
