Much cooler in the night. Bright & Sunny all day but cold.
Late P.M. take Pal for a walk into the wild tangle & winds east of East Ave. He seemed to enjoy it.
Evening B & I for a drive in country—stopping at Blair’s—Bob was teaching, unfortunately. A Mr. & Mrs. Carroll were there (they live up the road in a barn, while getting their house ready, and Mrs. C. does her ironing at Blair’s). Little Jean too exuberant in her showing off but eventually quieted down. Young David, almost a year old, a good-humored friendly little fellow. Our conversation lovely, but I cannot remember what we talked about.
