Make studies all morning. Lunch at the usual place; In the space of a few moments I saw a yellow warbler, an indigo bird, and a cardinal - the three primary colors. The cardinal I had heard while making studies earlier. I called him forth by imitating his whistle. He scolded me from a rich yellow green haw-tree.
