Tullis Johnson, manager of archives and information resources at the Burchfield Penney and Dr. Stephen Vermette, meteorologist and professor in Buffalo State'sGeography and Planning Department, were in Albany, New York to receive Museumwise's Certificate of Commendation at the opening reception of the 2012 Museums in Conversation conference.
The award was for the 2011 presentation of the exhibition Charles E. Burchfield: Weather Event.
