A bright mild day—
B & I to the “Great Woods”—A fine day—we took cold chicken up for our lunch which we ate, sitting on a log in the warm sunlight—a pleasant hour. Studying & discussing the infinite variety of tree trunks—After dusk wandering around in the woods exploring—great hosts of hepaticas; in full bloom, wide open looking up at the sun—a marvelous sight.
