Sally out with baby (she & Red to take Communion at Emmanuel Church in evening). Early A.M. pictures to packers.
Working on frames –
A honey bee sunning itself on a frame. What a dainty creature, and how beautiful the first winged insect!
To come out doors, with the memory of the softness of the baby’s cheek and smile still fresh in my mind, and find a tiny worm-like creature struggling along a snow-bank.
Robins.
Evening drive Sally & Red to E. Aurora then [Bertha] & I to the hill eastwards. Park and look out over the moonlit valley, Patches of snow gleaming in the mood-light – the glint of moonlight on limbs of wild cherry trees. Cold.
