The Vernal Equinox — a heavy snow from the southeast last night — the air is warm & quiet this morning. There are rumblings from the earth’s depths.
On Friday & Saturday nights I saw the Russian Ballet — I never was so completely transported, [to] the world of the imagination. Everything seemed newly created in my mind.
It is almost the ultimate in stage art — the union of music, drama, dancing, pantomime, & design.
