Still cloudy, and wet snow at times, only today the flakes are large, and fall to earth in exactly the manner of the globes we used to have as children, with a little church or house and the tree; the snow being made to “fall” by inverting the globe several times.
We planned to go to Buffalo, to take the “Pillar of Cloud” (1961) to be framed for the Buff. Soc. & Patteran show at the gallery – But we both felt too bad – (both of us had chills in the night) – so we decided to give it up and send one of the already framed pictures upstairs (November Sun) –
To Chestnut Lodge for lunch, which I did not enjoy much, being nauseated most of the time.

Letter from Art with more suggestions for the Hi-fi a better speaker outfit, for one thing and some catalogue illustrations of record cabinets (one of these seems ideal – the same height as the new player unit, and with a capacity of 300 records. He also suggested installing a special tone-arm for playing 78’s –
He said Vi’s doctor suspected she had peptic ulcers. She is to have an examination this week.
Roger Need called in the afternoon. He suggested we turn whatever money is collected over to his parents towards a vacation. This seems like an excellent idea to us.
Evening, in spite of our not feeling so good & the weather, we went to church. Rev Caltain preached while Rev. Neeb preached in Rev C’s church.
Home, and called up Art and Vi. Vi answered and said Art had just gone to the drug store. Three of the children have measles. So after talking a bit to Vi, I turned the phone over to Bertha, to talk until Art returned.
After he returned, he & I talked Hi-fi and I told him to go ahead on the changes he suggested. He plans to come on April 13, and will bring Artie with him –
