Late P.M. a kite suddenly appears overhead - Politicians are worrying what to do with atomic power, and the airplane has “changed our world” but Thank God, boys still fly kites! May it always be so.
The sight of that diamond shaped object against the blue sky, with its waving tail, send a wave of nostalgic yearning thru me that almost caused me to reel. Visions of Egypt Road and Covered Bridge, with sunlight from the south; raw yellow banks dripping with nearly melted snow; slate banks before cool mines gleaming in the sun, bluebirds softly calling; song sparrows singing . . .
