A.M. – to Dr. Gurney for check on sugar count — crocus blooming at the south side of the Med. Building.

To lodge for lunch—

P.M. – Charles Penney and Miss Stumps (reporter for a Niagara Falls newspaper, who came for an interview in connection with the exhibition of C. P.’s entire collection of my work at Lockport, May 1.  A pleasant, stimulating encounter; although I am afraid Miss S. knows little about art, and I am a bit apprehensive about what she will say.
