Calm, sunny day, slightly above freezing –
Except for an errand to the post-office and bank, the day spent in the studio working continuously on the “Swamp-fire at night” – accomplished quite a lot, but it is still unresolved – Bertha who came out at 4:00 to “inspect” it, thought it was coming well.
