Heavy snowstorm from the N.E. beginning just before dawn. [Bertha] & I to Sally’s to help them move. Red and I take on and load before lunch. Nervewracking driving. Another load after lunch; the snow had turned to rain, which froze. We take Sally’s cat home with us. Sally hated to part with it, and she hated to go to Laube’s. Our hearts ache for her. Evening B & I play rummy. B beats both games.
