February – 9 – Sunday
*(when we got back, we found that Plorvean [word unintelligible] had plowed out the drive and shoveled a beautiful path to the studio)
A bright sunny day. When we came out of church I remarked to Bertha that it seemed like a “maple sap” day.
We had intended going to Charter House, but decided to wait and go to the Lodge later in the afternoon
However when it came time to go neither of us felt like going so we ate at home –
Afternoon spent writing letters to the Ferris boys and addressing Valentines to all the grandchildren.
* ”Sap day”
