To-day was a typical winter day; in the morning, I awoke in a cold sunshiny air; it was cold and the wind was blowing hard. Yellow and grey clouds ragged and torn rushed across the frozen sky, the air was very clear, in which a few scattered flakes were falling; the sun was intensely bright. All day log flurries of snow and sunshine alternated, until the day clouds with a purple and orange sunset.
