Real winter arrived Saturday with a heavy snow, and since there has been some snow every day sometimes with wind, and the temperature has hovered around zero. (Today at 10 a.m. it was 7 below)
The first snowfall (22”) came without wind, and piling up in the trees & buildings, the effects were strangely beautiful – The playhouse in particular has a great rounded cap, almost ridiculous because it is all out of proportion to the size of the building.
