We have been having real old-fashioned winter these days. Thursday night we all went to the picture-show. A fine snow was falling in it was bitterly cold, but we cut-up so much, we didn’t notice it. When yesterday morning came, we discovered that a heavy snow had come in the night. All day yesterday it was a wonderfully wintry winter day. Overhead was a deep blue sky, from which the warm sun shone ineffectually on the white earth.
