As I was coming up Garfield Avenue, I saw one of the prettiest sunsets that I have saw. When it began, it was merely pink stripes across a pale blue and greenish sky. As it grew, however, the whole western sky became aflame, and by the time I got home, gorgeously red stripes were stretched across the reddening sky, the upper clouds being purple, tinged with a rusty red.
