I cut the weeds in the front yard tonight. Regret came with the first blow of the sickle.
The day spent in cleaning up the yard, mowing the grass, scrubbing out the “pavilion.”
Late afternoon to station to meet Louise, stopping here on her way to New York. A pleasant chatty evening.
It is “High Noon” - the high noon of the whole year. The sun so high, that its’ (sic) rays are vertical, and things have a blackish look.
