The Burchfield Penney Art Center is thrilled to announce that, thanks to a generous grant from Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, admission is now free for all K-12 students through December 2025, including for students visiting as part of school tours.
Open Studio welcomes individuals of all ages and skill levels to join the fun and express their creativity. Each month, we will delve into a new theme and art material, allowing you to expand your artistic knowledge and skillset. Each creative theme project is designed to complement the current exhibitions within the museum and the colors, shapes, and textures of the Usuem Studio. Whether you are an experienced artist or a beginner, our Open Studio is the perfect place to learn, create, and connect with other like-minded individuals in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Kid's Book Club meets at The Center every fourth Sunday of the month from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. The program includes a book, a gallery tour, and an art-making project.
