Camp Everything, is an exhibition celebrating the imaginative world created by artist Adam Weekley and the community that brought it to life. First launched at Buffalo’s PRIDE Festival in 2022, Camp Everything began as a mobile float and performance installation produced in partnership with Torn Space Theater and supported by the Cullen Foundation. Drawing inspiration from the joy and inclusivity of 1980s summer camps and the radical kindness of figures like Jim Henson and Mr. Rogers, Weekley envisioned Camp Everything as a playful, affirming space for LGBTQIA+ youth, families, and allies.
During its time as a float, Camp Everything grew into a collaborative project shaped by artists, performers, and community members who came together to build, decorate, and activate the float at Pride and beyond. The 2026 exhibition brings together objects, ephemera, costumes, photographs, and video documentation, offering an immersive look at the creativity, humor, and generosity that sustained the project.
At once nostalgic and forward-looking, Camp Everything celebrates the power of art to create belonging. It honors the collaborators who helped transform a parade float into a traveling celebration of joy, inclusion, and community spirit—inviting visitors to experience camp not just as a place, but as a way of being where everyone has a role and everyone belongs.
