This interactive exhibition, drawn from the larger exhibition, Buffalo People and Places 1961-2001 presented at The M&T Center, featured paintings, drawings and photographs by artists who use the area in which they live or work as their subject. It included works from the Burchfield Penney Art Center’s collection by Niels Yde Anderson, Philip C. Elliott, Kevin B. O'Callahan, David Pratt, Anthony J. Sisti, James Vullo, and William West, Sr. and an additional selection of photographs by Ken Barney, Lenord Bethel, Dick Byrnes, and Kenn Morgan—artists associated with the Locust Street Neighborhood Art Classes in Buffalo’s East Side neighborhood.
