This ninth biennial, juried exhibition featured works in clay, fiber, glass, metal and wood by artists who are current or past residents from nine counties in Western New York. The guest curator was Mark Leach, deputy director of the Mint Museum and founding director of the Mint Museum of Craft + Design in Charlotte, North Carolina, who also lectured on October 17. Leach selected the craft art of the following artists: Jozef Bajus, Dianne Baker, Marvin Bjurlin, Holly Nora Brown, Juan Carlos Caballero-Perez, Leeann Catanzaro, Hweawon Chung, Brett Coppins, Melissa Crowell, Marcia G. Ferber, Tom Ferrero, Tracy Fiegl, Magdalene Gluszek, Kathryn Granchelli, Carrianne Hendrickson, Richard Hirsch, Tom Hoffman, Bryan Hopkins, So Won Joo, Sue Katz, Langley Kenzie, Bethany Krull, Jeffrey Lanfear, Hyun Jung Lee, Keri Logel, Scott Losi, Kris Lyons, Stephen Merritt, Barbara J. Murak, Dennis Nahabetian, Lynn Northrup, Jackie Pancari, Mahine Rattonsey, Kathi Roussel, Matthew SaGurney, Gerald G. Smith III, Tara Stephenson, Elizabeth Vorlicek, and Liaung-Chung Yen. The exhibition was supported through the Sylvia L. Rosen Endowment for Fine Arts in Craft Media.
