Two Reactions: Commemorating September 11th
On View Monday, September 9–Sunday, September 15, 2002
Western New York artists Joseph Orffeo and Westley Olmsted presented two voices—contemplative and angry—in reaction to the tragic events of September 11, 2001. In very different ways, this simple installation of three paintings in the display case on the second floor of Rockwell Hall provoked reflection and commemorated this day of national suffering.
