Tales to Tell: Crayola Dream-Makers

Binney & Smith, the makers of Crayola® art products, selected the Burchfield Penney Art Center as site coordinator for an East Coast art education program involving students, teachers, college professors, school administrators, and community leaders. Students from kindergarten through sixth grade were inspired to create art by activities in the Dream-Makers® teacher's resource guide applied in the classroom setting. A guest curator selected work from East Coast schools to be exhibited at the Burchfield Penney, and then to tour to two other sites. The opening included an awards ceremony.
