In a time when our civic conversations can feel increasingly complicated, contentious, and overwhelming, voting remains one of the most powerful ways we can participate in our democracy.
Join the League of Women Voters at the Burchfield Penney Art Center for How to Be a Courageous Voter — an engaging presentation and conversation designed to help participants become more informed, confident, and active voters.
Together, we will explore what it means to approach elections with curiosity, confidence, and courage; how to seek reliable information; how to engage respectfully with people whose perspectives may differ from our own; and how each of us can take an active role in strengthening our communities and our democracy.
Whether you are a lifelong voter, a first-time voter, or simply looking for ways to become more engaged in the civic process, this program offers an opportunity to learn, listen, ask questions, and connect with others.
