Open Mic Hour

Open Mic Hour is a welcoming, family-friendly space for sharing your creativity and talents. 

Sign up at the café when you arrive; spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Sign ups will be open 15 minutes before the start of the event. Performances may include singing, playing an instrument (provided by the performer), poetry or short-story readings, comedy, storytelling, or other creative performances. Performances are limited to one or two people—no full bands or larger groups—and each performer or duo will have a limited amount of time so that everyone has an opportunity to participate. Performances should be appropriate for audiences of all ages and respectful of our museum and café environment. Please be mindful of other performers and café guests, and come ready to listen, encourage one another, and enjoy an hour of community and creativity! 

All participants receive $5 off their café purchase on the day they perform.
