For Your Consideration

The Burchfield Penney Art Center is pleased to announce a new collaboration with the Buffalo State Theater Department: For Your Consideration, a series of informal play table reads featuring Buffalo State theater students.

Each event will feature a different play, presented as a selected table read rather than a fully staged performance. The series gives emerging theater students an opportunity to develop their performance skills while inviting audiences to experience plays that may be considered for future productions.

Following each reading, attendees will have an opportunity to share their thoughts and feedback about the play. Audience responses will be collected and considered by the Theater Department as it evaluates potential works for future main stage productions.
