7:30 pm Rear View Ramblers
Rear View Ramblers balances the tradition of bluegrass and folk music with the spirit of growing up in the Queen City. It doesn't take long to hear the connections to their hometown. From struggling days being young and broke, to playing music in Allentown and the Elmwood Village, or finding true love in a dive bar on the most random occasions, their music is an honest depiction of being young and desperately seeking happiness in a city known for hard times. After spending several years playing with the Alt-Country band The CPX, songwriters Katie (Panfil) Clark and Andrew J. Reimers set out to create a more stripped down sound, a sound authentic enough to be enjoyed by even the most loyal bluegrass fans yet inoffensive to the ears of a younger generation who are just beginning to explore the genre. Rear View Ramblers is releasing their Debut EP, "Buffalo Americana" 8/17 at Larkin Square.
