Artist/Instructor: Don Michalak
Fee: $37 for members/$47 for not-yet-members
About the Workshop
Be introduced to Urban Sketching and explore the possibilities of drawing on-location. No prior experience required and open to all skill levels. We’ll briefly tour the current exhibition, 'Adjacent Spaces' with paintings by Karen Tashjian and Mark Lavatelli, whose works are described as 'abstractions of the intersection of the built and natural world.' After a hands-on demonstration, a discussion will follow including suggestions for creative approaches to sketch styles, techniques, and materials. You’ll go on to draw from a spot in or around (weather permitting) the BPAC site. We’ll close with a re-gathering and optional sharing.
