Lo-Vis: Drop-in Artmaking Collaboration with Burchfield Penney Art Center and AKG!
Lo-Vis is an immersive, hands-on, drop-in artmaking series in collaboration with Burchfield Penney Art Center and AKG. On select Fridays and Saturdays in May, join educators Sam Serrano (AKG) and Michaela Worosz (Burchfield Penney) for drop-in artmaking designed for all skill levels.
Guided by the styles and techniques of local artists and muralists, participants will use materials commonly seen in public mural-making to create a collaborative miniature mural. Each week, explore a different artist's style and gain insight into the creation of large-scale art.
The final works created will be hung in the Wendt Community Gallery at AKG, on view from Thursday, June 5 – Monday, August 4, 2025.

Lo-Vis AKG Drop-in Artmaking sessions will be on Friday, May 16, 23, and 30 from 4 – 7:30 pm.
Lo-Vis Burchfield Penney Open Studio sessions will be on Saturday, May 17, 24, and 31, from 10:30 am – 4:00 pm.
