Happy Hour featuring Music by the Mathew Felskie Quartet is part of M&T Second Friday at the Burchfield Penney.
The name of the group is called The Elmwood Underground, and it features Matt Michaud on Guitar, Matt Felski on the Drum-set, and Cameron Kayne on Upright bass. The groups sound is based on a blend of traditional and Contemporary jazz, featuring compositions from great artists such as Cedar Walton, Pat Metheny, Dizzy Gillespie and Joe Henderson. The band has a unique and organic sound, drawing upon melodic and rhythmic interaction to blend as a trio.
