In advance of the official unveiling of a statue of Shirley Chisholm at Forest Lawn Cemetary, created by Julia Bottoms, Senator Sean Ryan is hosting a roundtable discussion with Julia and local artists centered around the theme of "The Power of Public Art in Making Political and Social Commentary." The event will feature creatives who utilize art as a vehicle for change. This event is free and open to the public.
