BIOS:
Music with some funk; music with some fun. That’s what you get with the Tim Britt Band. They laugh at each other on stage. They burst into choreographed dances. They accidentally wear the same shirt, perhaps a bit too often to be accidental. There’s no denying that when the show is on, the Tim Britt Band is having the time of their lives. And when you look around the room, you can see that everyone is having just as much fun as they are.
The Tim Britt Band is a 4-piece modern/alternative/folk group from Buffalo, NY. Singer, guitarist, songwriter, and Utica, NY native Tim Britt, formed the group in 2015 as an expansion of his award-winning solo career. Joined by seasoned Buffalo musicians, Chris Kacala, Gerald Michael, and Evan Laedke, the group uniquely blends their experience in blues, new wave, funk, disco, soul, and pop with Britt’s already established style, to create new takes on classic songs and wonderfully catchy originals.
In just a short time on the scene the group has shared the stage with the likes of TR3 Featuring Tim Reynolds (Dave Matthews Band), The Elephant Revival, John Popper, The Arcs, Gin Blossom, and Tommy James. Their memorable live shows have become popular at well-known Western New York venues and festivals. A must-see act and not soon to be forgotten, the Tim Britt Band is everything you want to see in a modern-day group, making each show a foot stomping, gut busting, soul lifting good time.
